Black Horse Canyon Ranch offers our guests incredible hunting experiences with access to almost 1,600 acres of managed timberland, secluded lodging with all the amenities to make your hunting adventure memorable. The ranch also provides the opportunity for black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, elk, cougar, bobcat, coyote, grouse and turkey hunts.

Black Horse Canyon Ranch provides hunters with unique and rugged sanctuary habitat, over 10 acres of food plots, 4 year-round creeks and hundreds of acres of contiguous timber. We had the Carpenter Road wildfire move through the ranch in 2015, and although we lost the majority of our thick timber stands, it provided an amazing boost to the resident wildlife with a flush of new undergrowth and browse.

BHCR charges $100/person/day to hunt on the ranch, and that includes access to the cabins on the ranch for up to 11 people. Hunting is reserved on a first-come-first-served basis, and by request only. Spots are limited, and we only allow one group at a time to hunt on the ranch to ensure a quality experience.
